Shares of Bank of America Corp. (BAC) declined by 0.36% to $30.74 on Tuesday, marking the stock’s second consecutive day of losses. This comes as the overall stock market experienced a positive trading session, with the S&P 500 Index rising by 0.46% to reach 4,643.70 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increasing by 0.48% to reach 36,577.94.

Despite the slight decline, Bank of America Corp. closed at a price of $30.74, which is $6.26 below its 52-week high of $37.00 reached on February 7th.

In comparison to its competitors on Tuesday, Bank of America Corp. underperformed. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) saw an increase of 0.89% to reach $160.52, while Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) rose by 1.02% to $46.47.

The trading volume for Bank of America Corp. stood at 34.2 million shares, which is 13.7 million shares below its 50-day average volume of 47.9 million shares.
