With the opening of the U.S. stock markets just two hours away, several companies have already seen significant gains in pre-market trading. Karuna Therapeutics Inc. (KRTX) is up 49.8%, while Ansys Inc. (ANSS) has risen 16.7%.

Other companies experiencing gains include Ionis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IONS), Onto Innovation Inc. (ONTO), and Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (WMS), all of which have posted increases of at least 3%. However, Nike Inc. Cl B (NKE) and NRG Energy Inc. (NRG) have both seen declines in early trading, with NKE falling 12.7% and NRG dropping 6.1%.

Looking at the broader market, S&P 500 futures are down slightly at 0.01%, while futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average have fallen 0.28%. Additionally, Cboe Volatility Index futures are down 1.66%.

Moving on to commodities, Brent crude oil futures have risen 0.27%, and gold futures are up 1.05%. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has experienced a slight decline of 0.97%, currently valued at $43,568.

In the bond market, the 10-Year Treasury yield has fallen to 3.854%.

During the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow saw gains of 1.03% and 0.87%, respectively. Asian stocks were mixed overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index up 0.09% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index down 0.13%.

As for European stocks, they are currently experiencing mixed results in afternoon trading. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has dropped 0.06%, while the FTSE 100 Index has risen 0.03% from the previous close.
