Pre-Market Trading
Immunovant Inc. (IMVT) surged 10.6% in pre-market trading, while CarMax Inc. (KMX) saw a 6.9% increase. MasTec Inc. (MTZ), Micron Technology Inc. (MU), and Roivant Sciences Ltd. (ROIV) also recorded gains of at least 5%. However, Ameren Corp. (AEE) and NRG Energy Inc. (NRG) experienced declines, falling by 56.0% and 4.4% respectively.
Futures
S&P 500 futures showed positive momentum with a 0.51% increase, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose by 0.42%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures also saw an uptick of 5.51%.
Commodities
Commodities were mixed as Brent crude oil futures dipped by 0.39% and gold futures decreased by 0.05%. On the other hand, Bitcoin rose by 1.76% to reach $44,160.
Treasury Yield
The 10-Year Treasury yield climbed to 3.873%.
Previous Session
In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow experienced declines of 1.47% and 1.27% respectively. Meanwhile, Asian markets displayed a mixed performance with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index down 1.59% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index up 0.57%.
European Markets
In afternoon trading, the STOXX Europe 600 Index declined by 0.56%, and the FTSE 100 Index experienced a decrease of 0.50% compared to the previous close.
