Charlotte Sena, who went missing while riding her bicycle at Moreau Lake State Park, was located “in good health,” revealed the New York State Police in a statement. Further details about the incident have not yet been released.

Over the course of two days, law enforcement officers, forest rangers, and numerous volunteers embarked on an extensive search effort to find the girl. Concerns of possible abduction were raised by the police.

The girl’s family pleaded with the public for any information that could aid in Charlotte’s safe return. They urged people to contact the state police with even the smallest piece of information.

The search intensified on Monday with approximately 400 individuals participating, including state and local police, forest rangers, volunteer firefighters, and specialized search and rescue groups. Assistance from the FBI was also requested.

With an expanding search area of 46 linear miles, largely characterized by dense wooded regions, troopers established multiple checkpoints along the park’s rural roads. They stopped drivers to inquire about their familiarity with the family, whether they had seen Charlotte’s photo, or possessed any relevant information. In certain cases, drivers were asked to open their trunks for inspection.

The details surrounding Charlotte’s disappearance and safe recovery remain under investigation.

Search for Missing Girl Continues in Greenfield Park

Described as a bright and adventurous girl who enjoys spending time outside, Charlotte has a reputation for her kindheartedness. She has expressed her desire to create a club at her school for kids who lack companionship. The State Police acknowledged her selflessness and assured the public that they are working tirelessly to bring Charlotte home.

According to Governor Kathy Hochul, Charlotte was riding her bicycle with a group of children around a campsite loop when she decided to take an additional solo ride. Her parents became worried when she failed to return after a quarter of an hour.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, the girl’s mother called 911 upon finding her bicycle abandoned. Due to the possibility of an abduction, the officials issued an Amber Alert on Sunday morning after conducting a comprehensive search.

Charlotte is described as a white girl with blond hair and green eyes, standing at around 4 feet 6 inches tall. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs, and a gray bike helmet.

The Corinth Central School District has enlisted extra counselors at Charlotte’s elementary school to provide support for students and staff during this difficult time. The district expressed their heartfelt sympathy for the Sena family in a statement.
