The U.S. stock markets are gearing up to open in just two hours, and there are some notable pre-market movements. Nutanix Inc. Cl A (NTNX) is showing strong performance, up 19.8%, while Elastic N.V. (ESTC) is also experiencing gains, up 15.9%.

Not to be outdone, Dell Technologies Inc. Cl C (DELL), MongoDB Inc. (MDB), and Constellation Energy Corp. (CEG) are all in the green with gains of at least 3%. However, Paramount Global Cl A (PARAA) and HashiCorp Inc. Cl A (HCP) have dipped in early trading, seeing declines of 4.7% and 4.1% respectively.

Looking at the broader market, S&P 500 futures are showing promise, up by 0.39%, accompanied by a similar rise in futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average. In contrast, the Cboe Volatility Index futures have dipped by 2.09%.

Shifting our focus to commodities, Brent crude oil futures have gained 1.34%, while gold futures have also seen a modest increase of 0.29%. Bitcoin has made a slight climb of 0.07% to reach $25,988.

As for Treasury yields, the 10-Year Treasury yield has slipped slightly to 4.106%.

Recapping the previous regular trading session, both the S&P 500 and the Dow experienced slight declines of 0.16% and 0.48% respectively. On the other side of the globe, Asian stocks performed well overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index gaining 0.28% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index rising by 0.43%.

In European markets, stocks are on an upward trend in afternoon trading. The STOXX Europe 600 Index is up 0.34%, while the FTSE 100 Index has climbed by 0.61% since the previous close.
